These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) apply to the Giftable Gift Card (hereinafter referred to as the “Gift Card”). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as they constitute a legal contract between you, the Cardholder, and KROWD Limited (“us,” “we,” or “our”). By using the Gift Card, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined herein.

Definitions

  • Cardholder: Refers to the person who purchased the Gift Card and any subsequent Gift Card holders, whether registered or not.
  • Denominated Currency: Refers to pounds sterling.
  • Gift Card: Refers to the Giftable Gift Card issued by Prepay Technologies LTD and distributed by KROWD Limited. Please note that this Gift Card is not subject to the Payment Services Regulations 2009 or the Electronic Money Regulations 2011.
  • You and your: Pertains to the Cardholder.
  • We, us, or our: Refers to KROWD Limited (Company No. 10027920) of 1 Fore Street Avenue, London, England, EC2Y 9DT.

Giftable Gift Card

The Giftable Gift Card is a prepaid payment card that can be used to purchase from a selection of branded gift cards at giftable.me A comprehensive list of participating brands can be found on our Website. Please note that the Gift Card cannot be used directly with the retailers and must be swapped atgiftable.me

We update our list of participating brands regularly, but we cannot guarantee the list is always accurate or complete. We reserve the right to withdraw or change the range of brands available at any time and without prior notification. The Gift Card is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase or last load. Your Gift Card is not a credit card and is not linked to your bank account.

Purchasing, Loading, and Activating Your Gift Card

Gift Cards can be purchased via our B2B team, who can be contacted at giftable.me/contact The Gift Card is loaded with funds at the time of purchase. Additional funds can be loaded onto your Gift Card by contacting our customer services.

Using Your Gift Card

Issuance Timeframe: The issuance of a Giftable Gift Card may take up to 12 hours from the date and time of payment.

Your Gift Card can only be used to purchase branded gift cards at giftable.me Follow these steps to use it:

  • Visit giftable.me
  • Select "Redeem Gift Card."
  • Choose your branded gift card from the available options and add it to your checkout.
  • Enter your details, including your email address, to receive a link to obtain your branded gift card.
  • Enter your Giftable Gift Card as payment.
  • You will receive a SecureLink via email entitling you to obtain your branded gift card from the retailer.

Ensure you have sufficient funds on your Gift Card to make a purchase. Any remaining funds will stay on your Gift Card. You can check your balance via the Website.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Under UK law, as per Regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, certain products and services are exempt from the 14-day ‘cooling-off’ period for cancellations and refunds. Gift cards, as financial products, are included in these exceptions. As such, once a Giftable Gift Card has been purchased, it is non-cancellable and non-refundable. This policy ensures compliance with applicable UK law while maintaining transparency for our customers. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept this policy. For further details, please refer to the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, specifically Regulation 28.

Lost or Stolen Cards

KROWD Limited is not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards. Treat your Gift Card like cash and report any loss immediately via our customer services.

Fraudulent Activity

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel a Gift Card if fraudulent activity is suspected or if these Terms & Conditions are violated.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most recent version will be available on our Website.

Amex Cashback Clause

Amex cardmembers are entitled to cashback when purchasing Giftable Gift Cards, which will be remitted as a statement credit. These Offer Terms (including the offer description above) set out the key terms of the Giftable offer. Please ensure you read these terms alongside our General Offer Terms, which include important details about when statement credits or points can be reversed or lost.

Key Terms for Amex Cashback:

  • Cashback will be awarded as a statement credit for eligible Giftable Gift Card transactions during the offer period.
  • A statement credit should appear on your Card Account statement within 30 days of the eligible transaction but may take up to 90 days from the Offer End Date
  • The offer applies only to purchases settled in Great British Pound (GBP) on the enrolled Amex Card.
  • By saving the Offer to your Card, you agree to these Offer Terms and General Offer Terms.

Privacy

The use of the Gift Card is subject to Giftable’s Privacy Policy, which can be found on our Website.

Complaints

If you have concerns or complaints regarding your Gift Card, contact Customer Services for assistance. We will address your complaints promptly and fairly.

Our Liability to You

We are responsible for losses caused by us breaking this contract unless the loss is:

  • Unexpected: It was not obvious and nothing you said to us before we accepted your order meant we should have expected it.
  • Caused by a delaying event outside our control.
  • Avoidable: Something you could have avoided by taking reasonable action.
  • A business loss: Related to business use.

Other Important Terms

These terms are governed by English law. Claims against us or you can be brought in English courts.
